The 2025 National Finals Rodeo will mark the final appearance of the legendary Vold Rodeo Company. Originally founded by rodeo icon Harry Vold, the company has been a cornerstone of professional rodeo for decades. Earlier this year, it was announced that Vold Rodeo would be sold to Frontier Rodeo Company, bringing a close to one of the most prestigious and respected stock contracting firms in the sport.
For years, Kirsten Vold—Harry’s daughter—has carried on the family tradition, running the company with passion, integrity, and a deep love for the animals and the sport. After decades at the helm, she has made the difficult decision to close this chapter.
As a final hurrah, Vold Rodeo will bring three standout broncs to Las Vegas, Talkin Smack, Breezy Fling, and Captain Hook. These elite animal athletes will represent the bar HV brand one last time in the bright lights of the Thomas & Mack, a fitting farewell to a company whose legacy is woven into the fabric of rodeo history.
