The fifth and final bracket has wrapped up from the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and the 20-person Semifinals are all set.
In bareback riding, Leighton Berry won the final two rounds and earned $6,500. In steer wrestling, Dakota Eldridge banked $6,250 after splitting Round 3 and finishing second in the other two rounds. In team roping, Coleman Proctor/Logan Medlin banked $6,000 apiece thanks to wins in Rounds 1 and 3. Chase Brooks made $6,000 in saddle bronc riding after winning the final two rounds. Wenda Johnson was the barrel racing leader, also earning $6,000, after she placed in all three rounds. Last, but certainly not least, bull rider JR Stratford won $8,750 after sweeping all three rounds in the bull riding.
Action from San Antonio continues all week on from San Antonio with the Xtreme Bulls on Tuesday, Ranch Rodeo on Wednesday and the Semifinals of the rodeo on Thursday and Friday.
