A 91.5-point ride for the seven-time World Champion on his second trip aboard Dakota Rodeo’s Trump Train of the weekend earned Stetson Wright the win in Cheyenne.
“Oh yeah, I mean, he stepped ahead there and kind of hipped himself and then ran me down the chute and then, I mean, when he came around he meant it and it took everything I had to get him rode but I mean, 91.5 sounds pretty sweet,” Wright said.
Wright, who is No. 1 in the PRCA World Standings, was 4-for-4 in Cheyenne with three rides marked 90 or better, including back-to-back on Trump Train in the Semifinals and Finals.
He won the bull riding in 2019 and Wright says that winning at the Cheyenne Frontier Days ranks right at the top. He also cinched the All-Around title at The Dad as well.
