Stetson Wright Doubles Down to Make His Second 88-Point Ride at Rodeo Austin

Stetson Wright is 2-for-2 with the lucky score of 88 points at Rodeo Austin. He won the Long Round to cinch a spot in the Semifinals where he earned the same score to go to the top of the leaderboard.

The last saddle bronc rider out on the first night of Semifinals, Wright drew Dakota Rodeo’s Richie’s High, a horse that the seven-time World Champion had high expectations for.

“It was everything I thought it was going to be and more. It felt really good, that horse of Chad Berger’s felt amazing. There’s not much more I can say,” he said.

There are two performances of Semifinals left to go in Austin, but it is more than likely that Wright’s 88-point ride will move him on to the Finals.
