Sissy Winn Cinches Her Hometown Rodeo Win in Corpus Christi in the Best Way

Sissy Winn captured a win she has been waiting for when she clocked a 13.684 in her hometown of Corpus Christi. Back aboard her bay horse, Ted, Winn left it all in the arena.

“I just can’t believe it. I’ve always wanted to win my hometown rodeo and we did it! I can’t believe it, so blessed. I want to thank all the fans of Corpus, everybody, all the volunteers, the ground crew, thank y’all for dragging, taking care of the ground. I’m just so blessed right now,” she said.

It was an exciting and emotional win for Winn who took to social media to say she could not hide her excitement and that her horse’s run blew her away.

Winn is a native of Chapman Ranch, Texas, which is about 20 miles from Corpus Christi.
