Shelley Morgan and her horse, kiss, have always been fan favorites and the two dominated not only the performance but the entire San Angelo Rodeo after a 14.12-second run shot them to the top of the leaderboard.
“I just want to give God the glory because he’s blessed by life in so many ways, so many, and she’s definitely one of the special blessings. I actually got her, my brother-in-law helped me get her when she was three and I mean, she still brings tears to my eyes at age nine because she just keeps bringing surprises,” Morgan said about her equine partner.
After leaving a trail of impressive runs behind her at big outdoor pens, Morgan’s Kiss showed up to San Angelo and proved she can do it in the small, indoor pens too.
Morgan sits No. 2 in the average and is looking at coming back to the Finals in San Angelo.
