Sarah Angelone Wins Round 2 of Reno Rodeo With 2.2-Second Run

Sarah Angelone turned in a 2.2-second run in Round 2, the fastest of the Reno Rodeo so far.

“She’s crazy. She’s an eight-year-old mare that I’ve had for a couple years and she’s wild but she does her job when we get in the box,” she said of her horse afterward.

Sarah’s sister, Martha, is who convinced her to hit the road for a month this summer as Sarah sits No. 8 in the world after having a fantastic winter run.

Angelone collected a nice check for her run and also snuck back for the Short Round in the No. 9 spot. She will rope for the Reno Rodeo Championship on Saturday.
