No. 1 Tie-Down Roper and Two-Time NFR Cowboy Riley Webb on National Finals Nerves, Horses and More

After ending his first National Finals Rodeo with a less than favorable outcome, Riley Webb put the hammer down on his regular season.

A new horse, Boots, would be come Webb’s main mount throughout the 2023 season. Their career together kicked off the right way when they picked up the win at the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo. Webb went on to break the regular season earnings records with the help of Boots.

Webb’s second wave of new horsepower came in the second week of August when he got Rudy. Rudy got the call for the last weeks of the season proving his abilities and leaving Webb with a tough choice of who gets the call for Vegas.

As for the rest of his game plan in Vegas, Webb says he hopes to draw good and execute every night.

Webb enters his second NFR with a massive lead but he still have ten rounds of tough competition between him and a Gold Buckle.
