Ky Hamilton’s reride turned out to be the best ride of Bracket 7 Round 1 when it was marked 89.5 points. Aboard Cowtown Rodeo’s Modified Hou, a previously unridden bull, Hamilton won the round and is sitting in the No. 1 spot as they go into Round 2.
“I didn’t know anything about him. They just said he’d be right there and he was and he was just a good one to get on,” Hamilton said.
After trying to get out on his original draw, Hamilton moved on to Modified Hou and it ended up working out in his favor.
Two other qualified rides came from the Monday night performance from Maverick Potter and Stetson Wright.
