Jesse Brown Takes the Title in San Antonio with 3.1-Second Run

Jesse Brown saved his best performance for last in San Antonio. He went 3.1 seconds in the Finals to win the rodeo and earn over $22,000. Immediately after his run, Brown thought he may have been a little too fast out of the gate.

“I was making sure I wasn’t 13.1 and when I saw that, it was a pretty great feeling.”

With the win, Brown jumped to No. 3 in the PRCA World Standings which gives him a big boost heading into the rest of the season.

“It’s awesome this is a great start to the year and an awesome rodeo. The crowd is packed and pretty electric.”

Brown’s 3.1-second run beat out Kyle Irwin’s 3.6 to win the rodeo.
