Ivy Conrado-Saebens on why she and her horse JLo excel in smaller arenas

Ivy Conrado-Saebens joined our own Janie Johnson for an interview on Western Sports Roundup to discuss her performance in Odessa, what it’s like to ride JLo again and what it was like to watch Kellie Collier ride Salty.

Conrado-Saebens, the 2019 NFR average champion, talked at length about why her and JLo were able to thrive on little patterns in small arenas.

“Staying sat up is a big thing in these little arenas,” she said. “The good thing about JLo is she’s really easy to sit up on.....It makes her a lot of fun to run in small arenas.”
