Hailey Kinsel and Sister held the Round 9 record with a 13.40-second run. At the 2022 National Finals Rodeo, they broke their own record by six hundredths of a second.
The duo stopped the clock at 13.34 seconds and they did it with the reins flipped to one side.
“It was a little nervewracking. She was getting a little tighter after each round and when I shoved my hand up around the second they flipped... but she’s honest, she doesn’t try to do anything wrong so it was more like I better just hold on and hope for the best,” Kinsel said.
