Colton Byram won Bulls in the Ballpark at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas on Saturday with a 90-point ride on Night 2 of the one-head bull riding.
“Man, it’s indescribable, I’ve never been 90, I’m happy it was here tonight,” he said. “It was a lot of fun, good bull, good atmosphere.”
After just one ride over 85 points on the first night competition, things heated up on Night 2 when five cowboys bested the mark set by Chauk Dees on Friday.
The event, which was originally created to give cowboys a chance to earn more money during the COVID-19 pandemic, has become a staple of the early season calendar. The total payoff was over $35,000, with $10,716 going to the winner.
