Joey Williams is riding a wave of momentum this winter on her Breakaway Horse of the Year, Baby, and this time, she added yet another Go-Round win to her resume. With a 2.1 she splits the round win with Erin Johnson.
“You know, she’s just so honest and she gives me a shot every single time. As long as I do my job, she’s always there for me,” Williams said.
Williams went on to say in short arenas like San Antonio’s, it is best to take your first shot and she did just that to win the second round before she heads into Round 3.
Williams is leading her bracket in money earned with $2,125 with Jackie Crawford in second with $1,250.
