Bob Tallman took a leap of faith and now he is one of rodeo’s most recognized voiced across the country.
“I’m not sure what my dream was… I was working three jobs just like I do now. I don’t remember dreaming about being THE rodeo announcer,” Tallman says.
His first set up was in his backyard and consisted of a small mixing board and a $26 windsor mic. When he looks back, getting to go announce the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was almost like a break from real life.
When the NFR moved to Las Vegas, Tallman knew he was a big show and now, he is 50 years into a career as a legendary career as a rodeo announcer.
