Bradi Whiteside and Kassie Mowry both stop the clock at 16.56 seconds in Round 2 of Bracket 2 at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
Both ladies improved their times from Round 1, Mowry by over half a second on a horse who is making its debut into professional rodeo.
“Well this horse, it’s his first Pro Rodeo ever and so just getting him in here and getting a run under his belt, I think was the biggest thing to setting him up for today,” Mowry said.
Whiteside’s adjustment was simple, the Canadian cowgirl just asked for more from her horse, Sis, going into the first barrel.
Whiteside’s check from Round 2 was not enough to move her on but we will see Mowry in the Wildcard while Shelley Morgan and Dona Kay Rule have cinched their chance at the Semifinals.
