Zach Top performs National Anthem on Opening Night of 65th Wrangler NFR

Friday, December 8th the 65th Wrangler National Finals Rodeo kicked off in Las Vegas.

As always in the rodeo world, the first round opened up with country artist Zach Top performing the National Anthem. Top is a Washington ranch kid who is revitalizing 90s country music.

It looks like a one-person race in the Breakaway Rookie of the Year race with Josie Conner more than $8,000 ahead of Gianna Cianfichi in second place. Conner has won twice as much as the number two Rookie roper on the season.
