Will Lummus and Benz Buckle Down to Secure Round One Win in Sioux Falls

Will Lummus and his equine partner Benz brought the heat in Round 1 of the Cinch Playoff’s Governor’s Cup where the team clock a 3.8-second run to secure a first-place check of $10,000.

“This place is like the NFR honestly, I’ve never been here, it’s loud, it’s a small arena, it’s fast, I’m diggin’ it, it was really fun,” Lummus said.

Lummus is currently sitting No. 4 in the PRCA World Standings and his goal of securing a Gold Buckle is well in reach as he prepares for his sixth trip to the National Finals Rodeo.
