Jake Finlay notched what was perhaps the biggest win of his professional rodeo career at the Ram National Circuit Finals and he did so in dominating fashion by winning both the Semi-Finals and the Final Round.

In the eight-man round, Finlay rode United Pro Rodeo’s Awesome Sauce for 86 points and in the four-man shootout, he was 88 on Vold Rodeo’s Sun Glow. Both go-round wins earned him more than $12,000 total.

“This is awesome to get set up this early in the season,” he said. “I’ve been on the bubble on the few times, I’m just kind of glad I can get that little step ahead now and hopefully get to the bright lights of Vegas.”
