Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill Make it a Clean Sweep in Cheyenne

There was no doubt as to who the best ropers were in Cheyenne. Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill won each round they competed in, finishing off the Daddy of ‘em All with the fastest time of the rodeo at 7.5 seconds to get the win.

TRYAN/CORKILL, CHEYENNE FRONTIER DAYS, 7.5 SECONDS

Clay Tryan knew they were running hot and made sure they didn’t make any changes to their strategy.

“Sometimes when you’re cooking you just gotta cook,” Tryan said after the win.

Corkill is no stranger to the winner’s circle as he is now a four-time champion in Cheyenne.

“The rodeos like this, a lot of guys don’t get to win them one time, so to win them four times to me it seems crazy to even say it.”
