Martha Angelone and Katie White Split Round in Cheyenne

Martha Angelone and Katie White were the fastest cowgirls in Cheyenne on Wednesday after stopping the clock at 3.8 seconds. Not only will both take home a check of over $2,000 but more importantly advance to the semifinals at the Frontier Days.

For Angelone, the CFD is all about having fun.

“That run was so much fun, it was such a cool feeling right there. I knew my calf might try to run a bit and I was lucky I scored pretty decent and made a good run.”

White, who set the mark early in the round, made sure to stay calm in the box.

“It was just a good run, I just tried to score smart and rope.”

The other semifinalists from Day 5 at Cheyenne Frontier Days Erin Johnson, Abbea Faris and Brandi Good.
