Clayton Biglow Goes 90.5 on Re-Ride to Win Pool A, Round 1 at The Calgary Stampede

Clayton Biglow had a great draw on his re-ride by getting Yippee Kibbitz and he took advantage of the opportunity by riding for 90.5 points to win the first bareback riding performance in Pool A.

“It was a good day to have a re-ride,” he said. “Yippee is a great horse, does that every time and gives you a chance...It’s good to be back, really good.”

There were nine rides total marked 81.5 points or more on Friday afternoon and you had to be at least 85.5 to be in the money. Biglow earned $5,500 for the win. Tim O’Connell was second with 87.5 points on R.C. Landingham was third with 87. They received $4,500 and $3,500 respectively.

Each cowboy in Pool A will compete three more times with the Top 4 based on money earned automatically advancing to Championship Sunday. You can watch every performance of The Calgary Stampede on The Cowboy Channel and PRCA on Cowboy Channel+.
