Stetson Wright Clears $100,000 Mark in Bull Riding After Winning RodeoHouston

Stetson Wright re-took the lead in the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings and has now won a whopping $103,110 in that event before the calendar has turned to April.

Wright rode Yellowstone for 93 points, the fourth time he has cleared 90 this year, to win the Championship Shootout and $50,000 in prize money inside NRG Stadium on Saturday.

“I’m definitely living the dream, to be in an arena with a crowd like this is just insane,” he said. “I’ve always wanted to get on (that bull), he’s a handful.....It looked a lot better than it felt.”

Wright was the only cowboy to make the whistle in the four-man Shootout.
