Dona Kay Rule had the fastest run of the rodeo on Wednesday night, racing to a time of 13.83 seconds for her second straight barrel racing Go-Round win in San Antonio.
“I got pretty choked up (when I heard my time), that was pretty exciting,” she said.
Rule closed Bracket 3 in first place with $5,000 and has two of the three fastest times of the rodeo. The other semifinalists were Round 1 winner Emily Beisel ($4,500) as well as Paige Jones ($3,600) and Lacinda Rose ($3,000).
