Zane Murphy/Dustin Taylor have been a dominant pair so far at the National Western Stock Show in Denver and they're doing it through consistency.

In a rodeo where we've seen entire performances with only a handful of clean runs. Murphy/Taylor were 5.6 and 7.6 seconds respectively to give themselves a lead of more than two seconds in the Average.

"My fiancee, Jordan, videoed all of the steer last night, so we knew we had a slow, one a good one, so we decided we could go faster," Murphy said.

This new partnership has been especially close too, because Taylor is riding Murphy's heel horse.

"I just know with this setup in Denver, this horse fits this setup perfectly," Taylor said. "It be would nonsense to not ride him."
