Tilden Hooper’s impressive 2021 season continued last weekend.
With 90.5 points on C5 Rodeo’s Virgil, he won the rodeo in Clovis that concluded on April 25. That win paid him almost $9,000 and on top of that, he also finished second in the Long Round and fifth overall in San Angelo.
“This is always a busy weekend in rodeo and it feels a lot like the Fourth of July, you’re flying back to California back to Texas, going to Lufkin, going to San Angelo. It’s a busy weekend, but it’s good to be busy again,” Hooper said.
Hooper and Steve Kenyon broke down some of Tilden’s most recent rides, discussed the hospitality in Clovis and also what it was like to get on a bucking horse following Will Lowe’s scary wreck at the Cinch Chute Out.
