Second-generation tie-down roper Ben Robinson, 25, has been on fire!

Last week he won Rapid City, Tremonton, and Alamosa, jumping from No. 34 to No. 28 in the RAM | PRCA World Standings.

A spot at the 2020 NFR didn’t seem to be in reach for the Canadian tie-down roper, but if he and his trusty horse Caesar finish out September in similar fashion, Robinson may be able to break into the Top 15.

Winning three of the major stops last week earned Caesar the Time-Event Horse of the Week title. According to Robinson, he acts like a barrel horse most of the time, having a lot of energy, but once you get him in the box, he’s all business — and he can really fly.

Robinson recently joined us on Western Sports Round-Up to talk about his recent winning streak, his rodeo upbringing, Caesar, and the 2020 season.
