Standouts among the World Standings climbers: steer wrestler Blake Knowles, looking strong in Guymon, who’s jumped from No. 14 to No. 9; Shayde Tree Etherton’s made his way into the top 15 thanks to winning checks at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo and Tremonton; team roping header Colton Schmidt has jumped from No. 12 to No. 10; heeler Junior Nogueira has climbed to No. 7; on a hot streak, Hunter Herrin is now No. 15 in the tie-down roping; Westen Hughes has moved from No. 14 to No. 9; Caleb Smidt’s gone from No. 12 to No. 8; and barrel racer Tiany Schuster’s jumped from No. 13 to No. 9 in the WPRA Standings.
