Cash Robb is your 2023 Steer Wrestling Resistol Rookie of the Year. And, after an injury sidelined him at the end of the season, he has come back hungry for the Vegas lights. Robb has cracked into the Top 15 over the weekend to be your Pyranha Timed Event Athlete of the Week.

Robb’s smallest victory of the week came when he finished second in the Second Round of the BigFork Summer ProRodeo. A time of 4.5 seconds was fast enough to add $843 to his season earnings.

It was all gas before BigFork, though. At the 89th Annual Oakley City Independence Day Rodeo in his home state of Utah, Robb threw down a time of 3.5 seconds. It was tough competition as Stetson Jorgensen was hot on his heels with a 3.6 but Robb’s time held on to the lead to get the win and another almost $5,000.

At the renowned Cody Stampede in Wyoming, Robb would cash in his biggest win of Cowboy Christmas. A time of 3.7 seconds would be Robb’s second run in the 3s of the week and would earn him the biggest paycheck. The Cody Stampede win added almost $7,500 to Robb’s season earnings. He went from No. 19 to No. 14 in the PRCA World Standings in just a week.

Part of what gets Robb to the pay window is the horsepower and he is loaded with it as he usually backs into the box on Tyler Waguespack’s standout mount, Cheese. Over the Fourth of July, Robb’s success with Cheese paid him close to $14,000.
