Paying Tribute to the Pendleton Round-Up with Wayne Brooks

SUMMARY IMAGE: PENDLETON ROUND-UP VIA FACEBOOK

This year would have been Wayne Brooks’ 15th year announcing the Pendleton Round-Up — which was set to take place this week in Pendleton, Oregon.

Sadly, the historic rodeo, a favorite among many cowboys and cowgirls, had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 5X PRCA Rodeo Announcer of the Year joined Janie Johnson on Western Sports Round-Up to talk all about the Pendleton rodeo, what makes it unique, his favorite moments through the years, and what we can expect in 2021.
