Egusquiza/Graves Open Up Big Lead in the Average After Sunday’s Performances at the National Western

Dustin Egusquiza/Travis Graves won both performances on Sunday and took the lead in the Average by almost three seconds over Zane Murphy/Dustin Taylor, who had a big lead entering Sunday.

Egusquiza/Graves are currently 10.5 seconds on two head after an impressive pair of runs put them in second place in both Go-Rounds.

Both men are past champions of the National Western. Graves has won in Denver twice and Egusquiza has won once.

“I don’t really know (the key to winning in Denver), but I do like the environment,” Egusquiza said. “It’s just a cool rodeo to come to....Happy to have a chance to win it again this year.”
