Some cowboys had some good luck in the bronc riding over Cowboy Christmas.
Layton Green, a 2017 National Finalist, made the biggest leap of any saddle bronc rider by going from No. 24 to No. 18 in the PRCA World Standings. He did so winning more than $7,000 combined in Red Lodge (Montana), Livingston and Mandan (North Dakota). He sits about $3,300 out of a place in the NFR.
Ben Andersen moved up five spots and is now No. 15. The Canadian split second in St. Paul and also won checks in Prescott and Greeley. The week prior, he won Crooked River Roundup in Oregon.
Brody Cress has been incredibly consistent as of late. He is now in the Top 5 after moving up two spots by winning $9,418 during Cowboy Christmas. The Wyoming cowboy won the West of Pecos Rodeo was second in Belle Fourche (South Dakota) and Kildeer (North Dakota) as well as fifth in Prescott and Cody.
