Top Money Earners of Cowboy Christmas: Bareback rider Caleb Bennett

Eight-time NFR bareback rider did not make it to rodeo’s biggest stage last year, but the roll he was on during through the 4th of July will go along way to getting him back to Las Vegas.

Over the weekend, he was 90 in Prescott and then he was 91.5 in Cody. Both of those wins earned him more than $5,000.

Bennett also got the win in Kildeer, North Dakota and was second in Red Lodge, Montana. Bennett made the second biggest jump in the World Standings of any bareback rider over Cowboy Christmas, going from eighth to fifth place. He currently has $61,972 to his name.
