Caleb Smidt Wins Pool A, Round 2 With 7.1 Second Run

Caleb Smidt won Round 2 by 1.5 seconds and his time of 7.1 seconds is the fastest of The Calgary Stampede through two performances.

“I tried to get it all figured out today and it worked out, had another good calf and that’s all it takes is a good calf and a good run,” he said.

Smidt is second in Pool A with $7,000 earned so far. Tyler Milligan is first with $9,000 thanks to two second place runs. The Top 4 cowboys in each pool advance to Championship Sunday.
