Bull Rider Trey Benton III Wins Fort Worth Wild Card with Huge Ride

Trey Benton III put up not just the biggest bull riding score of the 2022 Fort Worth Rodeo, but also one of the highest scores of the year with 92.5 points on Rafter G Rodeo’s Goin Brandin Wednesday night.

“It felt good, it felt like a 90, but they hadn’t marked me that in awhile,” he said. “Whenever it said 92, I said ‘yeah, that’s about right.’”

Ruger Piva is the other cowboy from Wild Card Wednesday going on to the Semifinals. He was 85.5 points on Rafter G’s Chosen One.
