The St. Paul Rodeo is the 18th highest paying PRCA Playoff Series Rodeo on the calendar and the highest paying during Cowboy Christmas, the 4th of July run chalk-full of opportunities for big paydays. A total of more than $400,000 is divvied out with between $9,000 and $13,000 going to each winner. The small farm community in Oregon has a population of just 431 people, but draws more than 50,000 people each year for the rodeo.

The Cody Stampede is has been a 4th of July staple since 1919 and is the second highest paying rodeo over Cowboy Christmas. Besides Cheyenne Frontier Days, no rodeo in the Cowboy State pays more. Cody is also famous for running its ‘Nite Rodeo’ every single day in July.
