Brody Cress was 85.5 points on Wednesday night to move into the Top 12 and likely punch his ticket to the Short Round in the saddle bronc riding in Reno.
“I’ve watched a few videos of that horse and he always does that same thing where he comes around here and he gets a little strong, so my main focus was trying to stay ahead of him,” he said.
