Wade Sundell Returns from NFR Injury with Round Win in Houston

Wade Sundell suffered a scary injury during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Opening Ceremonies when he fell off a horse and fractured his T8 vertebrae.

The injury sidelined Sundell for three months, but you wouldn’t have guessed that after watching him compete in Houston. On his first ride back, Sundell’s horse slipped and he was awarded a reride. On that reride all Sundell did was win the round with an 89 point ride.

With the win, Sundell earned $3,000 and has a great chance to advance to the Super Shootout in Houston.
