Blake Ash jumped inside the Top 50 in the world after a strong showing in the Midwest over the weekend.
Ash placed third at the Will Rogers Stampede in Oklahoma with an 8.8-second run which earned him over $1,800. It was one of two strong runs over the weekend.
Ash also placed second at the Coles Tractor Regional PRCA Rodeo in Farmington, Missouri. There, he was 8.7 seconds and won $1,000 for his runner-up finish.
On the year, Ash has moved inside the top 50 at No. 47 in the PRCA World Standings with $16,215 earned on the year.
While he may have several spots to jump to make inside the top 15, Ash is only $12,000 behind Matt Shiozawa who currently holds that spot with $28,882 earned on the year.
