Paige Jones and Cotton Are The Farm-City Barrel Racing Champions

Paige Jones and her equine partner Cotton made a run of 16.97 to lead the barrel racing in Hermiston and take home the Farm-City Rodeo Championship Title.

Cotton played a big part in kick starting Jones’s barrel racing career and is making a comeback after being out with an injury for a large portion of the season.

“I think I was trying to win too hard and I just kept hitting barrels so I tried to slow my mind down especially on him because he’s so fast,” Jones said.

Jones is sitting just inside the Top 20 for the WPRA World Standings and is making the last couple months of the season count.
