Trey Holston Keeps Rolling as He Takes the Lead at Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo

Trey Holston has been on fire and it was no different in Sikeston, Missouri. He took the lead after an 86.5-point ride in Performance Two on Cervi Championship Rodeo’s Legal Action.

“It’s that time of year, it’s crunch time and people are getting sore, people are getting tired and I just keep telling myself this is where winners are made so I’m excited for every day,” he said.

This was a rematch for Holston after he went 83 on Legal Action at the Flint Hills Rodeo in June.

“It was exciting to get another opportunity. He had his day today, matched up for 86.5, it’s a good day,” Holston said.

Holston knew what he had to do to get the job done and he did just that. He currently sits. No. 14 and is looking at making his first ever National Finals Rodeo.
