Ben Andersen took the round in Cheyenne after an 83.5-point ride. After the ride, Andersen talked about how the horse surprised him a bit out of the gate.
“I didn’t know he had them moves in him. They might have looked a little smaller than they felt, but they felt pretty good. I just kept gassing and rolling and being aggressive.”
Andersen, who is outside the Top 15 currently knows that this rodeo can change the course of a season.
“This is big, this was a big bump for me last year too. I love this rodeo and the atmosphere is great.”
