The North Dakota cowboy is fully healthy for the first time in a few years and is currently No. 15 in the PRCA World Standings.
“This event, you just gotta be really lucky,” he said after his 86 point ride Tuesday afternoon.
Dean Thompson, Anthony Thomas and Tanner Aus are the other three qualifiers for the Semifinals as all four cowboys were marked between 84 and 86.
