Jordan Jo Hollabaugh Ropes Fast on Night One at California Rodeo Salinas

Jordan Jo Hollabaugh roped a 4.0 during the first performance of California Rodeo Salinas. That, combined with her Round 1 run of 5.4 in slack, Hollabaugh sits No. 1 in the average by .2 seconds.

“They’re fresh, so it’s an awesome set up for breakaway ropers and it’s just a great day to be in Salinas,” she said.

Hollabaugh’s horse power has always been top notch and her horse in Salinas, Cookie, has only been going down the road with her since the Fourth of July.

“She’s just been great. She’d good in all set ups, she makes me step my game up and I know I’ve got a lot of horsepower under me so I’m pretty thankful for her,” Hollabaugh says.

Madison Outhier and Sawyer Gilbert are among the many breakaway ropers hot on Hollabaugh’s trail at California Rodeo Salinas.
