Sage Newman and Holy Hoppin’ Hell match up to Set the Bar High in Salinas

Sage Newman has set the bar in the saddle bronc riding at California Rodeo Salinas. Bridwell Pro Rodeo’s Holy Hoppin’ Hell was Newman’s draw and the two made an incredible ride to be 89 points.

“Oh yeah, that horse, he does the same thing every time, really good, takes a lot of rein, lets you do your stuff and yeah, I was happy to have him,” Newman said.

Holy Hoppin’ Hell is a horse that the No. 1 saddle bronc rider has had before and he helped to continue Newman’s lead. It is almost guaranteed that Newman will come back to the Short Go on Saturday in California.
