Jake Gardner matched up with Bad Chute Crazy in Round 3 to go 84.5 points and get the round win by a half a point. After not having the first two rounds he wanted, Gardner slowed it down and refocused.
“It’s a dream come true to be here and the first two days I just didn’t do my job properly and today I just kind of took a few deep breaths and just focused on keeping that chest out,” he said.
Gardner knew the bull was a good one to have and it all worked out. Going into the fourth and final round, Gardner’s plan is to stay loose, cool and treat it like just another rodeo.
