The PRCA hosted a Youth Camp during the Nation Junior High Rodeo Finals to help cultivate the athletes for their future in the sport of rodeo.
The contestants were able to get great advice from professionals such as three-time NFR Qualifier Tate Stratton.
Stratton serves as the Director of the Youth Camp and helps host multiple different events throughout the year.
“We’re trying to allow these kids to have a basic handle on the safety procedures and a firm foundation for them to move forward with their junior high and high school careers and hopefully college and pro rodeo,” Stratton said.
These camps serve as a great resource for kids to learn and refine the fundamentals of the sport from some of rodeos most seasoned athletes.
