Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira had as good of a Cowboy Christmas as anyone this year. The pair earned nine checks of at least $1,000.

At the St. Paul Rodeo (Oregon) and the World’s Oldest Rodeo (Arizona), the pair placed in both rounds and won the event title.

At the World’s Oldest Rodeo, they won the Average and more than $7,000 thanks to runs of 6.3 seconds and 6.6 seconds.

In St. Paul, the duo won thanks to runs of 4.6 seconds and 5.5 seconds. The two runs and the average win earned them over $11,000 at the rodeo in total.

The pair was far from finished, though. At the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo (Utah), a 3.6 second time won them the one-head rodeo and added to $3,257 to their stockpile of Cowboy Christmas.

In Cody, they were second in the one-header with a time of 5.5 seconds. That run would be their most lucrative single run, earning over $5,000.

The tandem also won checks at the Black Hills Roundup (South Dakota), Livingston Roundup Rodeo (Montana) and the Home of Champions Rodeo (Montana).

After their run over Cowboy Christmas, the two have cemented themselves in the top spots of the PRCA World Standings. Driggers has opened up a lead of $30,000 on the heading side and Nogueira has opened up a $50,000 lead on the heeling side.
