The Western Sports Foundation & Peyton’s Project Runway Take Fort Worth

The Western Sports Foundation raises money to help athletes in all aspects of life including mental, physical, financial and life skills. One of their upcoming fundraisers is Peyton’s Project Runway.

With a goal to help athletes outside of the arena, Executive Director Aubrey O’Quin says that the Western Sports Foundation’s focus is to help athletes set themselves up to be successful while their competing and beyond.

Peyton’s Project Runway has helped raise over $300,000 for the Western Sports Foundation since it’s beginning in 2019. Peyton Gay started the show as a way to give back to a foundation that she says gave so much to her and her husband.

“It’s a live auction. So everything on the runway is modeled by PBR bull riders, stock contractors, everybody in the PBR family and we have everything from fashion to Yeti projects, we offer hunts, you can go to Africa, so there’s a lot of great stuff to bid on and it all goes to a really great cause,” Gay said.

To keep adding to the greatness of this event, Peyton’s Project Runway partnered with Pendleton Whisky to create a signature cocktail and Pendleton’s Mindy shared the ingredients for those who are unable to attend the event but still want to give it a try.

“That’s what we stand behind, is true western tradition and not letting anyone fall. This foundation actually represents everything in the core values we believe in so it just all makes sense,” said Mindy with Pendleton Whisky.

Peyton’s Project Runway is set to take place Saturday, May 21 in Fort Worth, Texas at Cowtown Coliseum at 1:00 PM CT.
