Lari Dee Guy Wins Breakaway Roping at Red Bluff Round-Up

Lari Dee Guy stopped the clock at 3.3 seconds on Sunday to win the breakaway roping buckle at the Red Bluff Round-Up.

“We rope a little bigger set of calfs here that really like to try,” Guy said of the setup in Red Bluff. “The box is long and narrow, so you really need to set there and score and then you have to have a horse that will run ‘em down for you.”

Guy entered Sunday in fifth place after a 3.2 second run in the Long Go and it is shaping up to be a good California run from the eight-time World Champion as she is leading a round in Clovis already with a 2.6 second run in slack. Guy is currently No. 4 in the WPRA World Standings.
